Roger is another strong and mobile hero in mobile legend with high versatility who can be played both as a Marksman or a fighter. Roger has two different form.He becomes a fighter and deals burst damage during wolf form and becomes marksman in human form.
All he lacks skills to stun enemy heroes his skills reduces movement speed and with his specialty in burst damage roger can solo almost anyone in the latter stage of the game. He also has an active skill that can deal heavy damage to multiple enemy heroes. If you play fighter or marksman in your team roger is a must hero to buy.
Here are some tips for you:
1. Focus on power up at the beginning.
2. Don't be too aggressive early in the game.
3. Take either top lane or bottom lane clean your lane and focus on farming.
3. Once you have about 3 items build up then you can get in your hunting mode, by which I mean start going for kills.
4. Roger is more likely a damage dealer. He is not a tank nor initiator. Do not run into enemy heroes crowd before initiator start trigger war with the enemy team.
6. Always lock low hp level enemy hero or fragile enemy hero.
8. Coordinate your attacks with your teammates to get successful kills
9. Use your transformation to Wolf Form and the transformation to Human Form to jump over the walls, use it to move faster around the map, to escape or to set up ganks.
10. Stay in wolf form to take advantage of the movement speed and burst damage with your basic attacks.
11. Your first skill in Wolf Form can be used to dodge enemy skills as you become immune for few seconds.
12. Leave the buffs for your teammates. Roger doesn't need the blue buff like other heroes so keep the buff for your teammates, but you can certainly steal enemy buffs.
13. Max out your second skills first. This increases your burst damage and attack speed.
14. Take either purify or retribution spell.

FULL MOON CURSE
Passive
In human form, basic attacks lower enemy movement speed 20%. In wolf form, basic attacks add damage equal to of HP already lost by the enemy (up to 60 added damage to Jungle Monsters)
FULL BORE/LYCAN POUNCE
Cooldown 7.0 Mana Cost 70
Rapidly shoots twice, dealing 300 physical damage in total. The first Hunter Net slows the enemy, the second one reduces enemy defense by 10.
Jump towards the target, dealing 300 physical damage to up to 3 enemies while going into unselected status. Killing or assisting reduces cooldown of this skill by 80%
HUNTER'S STEPS/BLOODTHIRSTY HOWL
Cooldown 10.0 Mana Cost 50
Increases the hero's movement speed 40%, lasts 2s. Making basic attacks on enemies while in human form will extend the duration of this effect.
Let's out a howl, increasing the hero's attack speed 25%, lasts 3s. While in effect, if there is an enemy with less than 40% HP in the hero's field of vision, his movement speed will increase 50%. Making basic attacks on enemies while in wolf form will extend the duration of this effect.
WOLF TRANSFORMATION/RESTORE HUMAN FORM
Cooldown 6.0
Lunges forward and turns into a wolf, dealing 200 physical damage and causing enemy movement speed to drop 90%, lasting 1.5s. Wolf form raises the hero's physical and magic damage 25 and increases his movement speed 25.
Rolls in a specified direction and turns into a human, receiving a 200 damage absorbing shield which lasts 1.5s.
SKILL COMBINATION
1. In the human form use full bore this deals massive damage as well as slows down the enemy.
2.Use third skill to jump towards the enemy in the wolf form.
3. use second skill bloodthirsty howl followed by your basic attacks.
4. If the enemy attempts to escape use first skill Lycan pounce to get the kill successfully.
Honestly, Roger can be a hard hero to play in the beginning as it requires a deep understanding of the potential of both his Human\Wolf Form but don't give up, keep practicing and you can be as good as other pros. If they can do it you can do it too.
